LITTLE SPARROW
Little Sparrow is the musical project of singer-songwriter Katie Ware, whose soulful, atmospheric sound blends folk, roots and rich harmonies. Named by Guy Garvey, she has built a strong reputation through BBC radio support and performances at major festivals including Manchester International Festival and Kendal Calling.
Her debut album Wishing Tree gained widespread airplay, followed by collaborations with pianist Robin Dewhurst and cellist Sarah Dale on the EP Just 3. Katie has shared stages with artists such as Kathryn Roberts & Sean Lakeman and Beth Rowley.
Joining Newton Faulkner at this year’s Nantwich Roots Festival, Little Sparrow is a captivating live performer, delivering powerful, emotive songs with a voice that lingers long after the final note.
