We’re pleased to be staging this one-off Nantwich event, during Roots Festival week.

Like everyone else, the people of Nantwich have been shocked by the events of the last 12 months in Ukraine, and after much consideration we’ve decided to present a fundraiser, with profits going to the Disasters Emergency Committee for the ongoing Humanitarian work in Ukraine.

To celebrate the Ukrainian spirit through music we’re delighted to welcome the Czervoni Maky Ukrainian Women’s choir, based near Manchester, performing songs both in English and Ukrainian, and also Ukrainian poems.

To complement them there will be Nantwich based singers and musicians… meaning that this special evening what will be the towns own twinning of UK and Ukrainian music, and a statement of friendship and solidarity with the Ukrainian people at this unprecedented point in history.

The show will include a guest appearance by MEGAN LEE, Nantwich based jazz singer who has been featured on BBC radio 2 and who recently recorded a fund raising track with Czervoni Maky Choir.
